Inside Israel Tech Week 2026
our story
I’m Lior Halabi, Co-founder & CEO and concept creator of Israel Tech Week. I met Ayal Stern while he was leading a U.S.-based startup and building his life in Miami. After living in Miami for over a decade - and following my first campaign for Miami City Commissioner - we crossed paths and immediately shared a common realization.
Miami’s tech ecosystem was accelerating rapidly, but it lacked a structured bridge to Israel’s innovation engine.
We saw the opportunity to create meaningful connections, strengthen collaboration, and build a long-term platform connecting Israeli founders, investors, and industry leaders with Miami’s growing global tech hub.
Together, we launched the Miami_Israel Collective - a community platform that became an essential bridge between Miami and Israel’s tech ecosystems. What began as curated gatherings quickly evolved into a powerful cross-border network, connecting Israeli entrepreneurs, investors, executives, and businesses with Miami’s expanding innovation landscape.
The Collective laid the foundation for something bigger - a structured platform designed to turn relationships into real business outcomes.
In recent years, Miami has emerged as one of the fastest-growing innovation hubs in the United States. The city has attracted entrepreneurs, investors, family offices, venture capital, and technology leaders from across the globe - including major migration from Silicon Valley, New York, Boston, Austin, Latin America, and Israel.
With this influx of capital and talent, Miami’s tech landscape has evolved into a dynamic launchpad for international growth and cross-border expansion.
The Miami_Israel Collective, now with over 2,000 members, continues to play a pivotal role in connecting Israeli and U.S.-based professionals across industries. We facilitate curated networking, business collaboration, investor introductions, and international conference participation.
Israeli startups gain direct access to U.S. capital and corporate partnerships through Miami - while local founders and investors gain exposure to Israel’s global innovation leadership across AI, cybersecurity, defense, fintech, health, climate, and beyond.
The momentum led to the launch of Israel Tech Week in 2025.
The inaugural 2025 edition set a new benchmark for cross-border innovation platforms. Over five curated days, Israel Tech Week welcomed 1,500+ attendees and featured 150+ speakers across multiple industry verticals - bringing together founders, venture capital funds, corporate executives, global law firms, financial institutions, government representatives, and ecosystem leaders. The week combined vertical depth, VIP experiences, startup showcases, and high-level networking environments designed to generate real outcomes. Beyond attendance, the event catalyzed strategic partnerships, investor-founder engagement, and national media visibility - firmly positioning Miami as a strategic gateway for Israeli innovation entering the U.S. market and laying the foundation for the expanded 2026 edition.
Now in 2026, Israel Tech Week returns expanded - with dedicated industry summits, stronger global partnerships, and a curated audience of decision-makers shaping the future of technology.
In less than two years, we organized and partnered on more than 18 high-level events - including the Calcalist Tech & Invest Conference, the IATI Mini MIXiii HealthTech Conference, and the Miami Tech Gateway activation in Israel - further strengthening the bond between both ecosystems.
